The Ship Inn has been closed for a number of years and has suffered from vandalism. They are looking to create around 35 new 1 & 2 bedroom apartments. Whatever happened to the promised housing in front of Asda - a flagship entrance to the City we were told? Now to be a petrol station to add to the sprawl? Personally I don't think having an unmanned garage at Asda will make any difference, but I was surprised to read that they will get 35 flats on this site, I can only assume it will be 2-4 storey's in height...
